Custom Family Art Commission

At Red Bird Ministries, we know that our families are composed of so many more children than just those we can see. Artist and Red Bird mom, Rachel Eligon, has generously offered her skills to the Red Bird community by offer you a complete family portrait- one that includes all your children, here and in eternity.

Below you will be asked to share a little bit about your family and upload your favorite family picture (immediate family only, please). Rachel will then replicate the family picture, adding in your children who have passed. Please allow 2-8 weeks to receive your completed portrait depending on Rachel's workload at the time of your submission.

We pray this art is a source of grace and comfort, reminding you of Christ's promise to make all things whole.

A Note From the Artist

“Dear Red Bird Parents,

Hello! My name is Rachel Eligon, a Catholic artist and writer, and more importantly, a fellow loss parent. I am so grateful for your vulnerability in sharing your whole family with me, and I hope this painting will grant you a window into God’s comfort and peace, however small it may be. Since losing my first child, Jude, to miscarriage in August of 2024, it has been my fervent desire to create artwork that comforts those who suffer deeply, particularly those who know the unimaginable pain of losing a child.
